ABOUT US

Our Story

Elseafood is run by husband and wife Martin and Charlotte Davies.

After spending years working and learning in Cornwall's hotels and restaurants, we wanted a different working pattern to fit in around family life.

We noticed that there weren't enough street food vendors selling fresh seafood (only the odd frozen fish & chips offering). We named our stall after our daughter Elsie, along with the concept of seafood and began trading as Elseafood at a food and drink festival in 2013.

Today our ethos remains the same. We cook fresh, restaurant standard seafood fast. We select all our ingredients locally to create our innovative menus, from the seafood to the Cornish Sea Salt and ales used in our batter.

We proudly support the Cornwall Good Seafood Guide and select sustainable seafood for our menus.  Items on the menu include the crispiest salt & pepper squid, freshest fish and chips, moules mariniere and the popular surf and turf.

Since 2020 we took on 'Pop Up' kitchens to keep us going whilst events weren't able to run. Now that events are back in full swing, we have returned our focus to events. Find us several local festivals and other events. Follow us on our socials to keep up to date with this!
